So I've talked about this palette a couple of times here on my blog yet I've never done a single post dedicated to it! Today I'm going to be talking about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette! So, let's get started. The moment sneak peeks of this palette started coming out, everyone was in love with how beautiful it is! The colors in this are so stunning. I'm going to be talking about each shade in this palette and what I think of it.
The first shade in this palette is called Tempera. When I first saw it I thought it was just your standard matte bone shade. This shade is like a satin with the tiniest bit of shimmer in it, it's beautiful! I love using it all over my lid when I don't really feel like doing eye shadow.
The next shade in the palette is Golden Ochre. I've used this a couple times when I've wanted a bit of a darker color on the lid. It's a pretty matte khaki like color and looks great when used in cut creases!
Next shade is Vermeer, this is a STUNNING champagne shade! It's so shimmery and beautiful, I love using it on my lid when I'm doing a regular glam look or a cut crease. Definitely one of my faves from this palette.
Next shade in the palette is Buon Fresco, another one of my favorites from the palette. This shade is a matte cool toned purple. It's gorgeous in the crease which is where I like to use it!
The next shade is Antique Bronze. I haven't used this shade on myself but I've used it on my mom several times and she loves it! She's all for darker shimmery shades on the lid and this shade looks so beautiful on her.
Next shade in the palette is another one of my faves, Love Letter. I don't own a color like this and I never thought I'd need to but WOW. This is a gorgeous bright fuchsia color that I love using in my crease to brighten up looks. I will be doing a blog post on a cut crease I did and I used this shade and it's honestly one of my fave eye looks I've ever done.
The last shade from the top row is Cyprus Umber. This is your staple dark brown matte shade that every palette needs in my opinion. This is perfect for the crease to darken looks up!
The first color from the bottom row is Raw Sienna and this is my favorite color from the palette! It may not look like anything special to some people but this color is everything you need and more. I own Sienna from ABH but I love this shade so much more! I've put quite a dent in it already. I use this shade for various things, as my transition, in my crease, or all over the lid and I'm good to go!
The next shade is another fave of mine, Burnt Orange. This color is kind of like Raw Sienna but a couple of shades lighter and not as warm.
Next shade is Primavera. This color is a gorgeous shimmery gold color that everyone is bound to love! I haven't really played around with it as much but I'm looking forward to.
The next shade in the palette is Red Ochre. I don't believe I've ever owned a red shadow and wow have I been missing out. I love pairing this with Love Letter when I do cut creases.
Next shade is another of my faves, it's Venetian Red. A must for me when I'm using Love Letter to do my cut creases! This shade is so stunning and every time I wear it I get compliments!
Next shade in the palette is Warm Taupe. I recently used this for the first time and I was impressed! I didn't really think I'd like it cause it looked too gray to me but it's a great color in the crease.
The last shade in this palette is Realgar! I love my orange shadow and this one definitely didn't disappoint me. It's a beautiful matte bright orange that's a must have shade in your collection!
In conclusion, you need this palette! You may think you can't get much use out of it but you can create so many different types of looks with this! For the price you get amazing quality shadows.
