August 2017 Faves! ♡

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! I'm finally doing a monthly favorites after forever. I only have a couple items that I'm going to be talking about so let's get right into it!

• iluvsarahii x Colourpop "Chic-Y" eyeshadow palette: I've been using this palette pretty much every time I do my makeup. It's the perfect neutrals palette! My favorite shade has to be freckles as I can build it up in my crease or sweep it all over and go.

• Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Shea Butter Lip Balm: This is one of the best lip balms I have ever tried! It's not tacky or slippery. It's thick but doesn't feel heavy on your lips. It soaks into your lips and leaves them feeling extremely soft.

• Colourpop "Monday" Ultra Matte Lip: When I first got this I wasn't too sure if I liked it. I'm not the biggest fan of nudes or really light lip colors and this one is on the more nude side. After using it a couple times, I fell in love! It's the perfect everyday shade.

• My Burberry Black Perfume: I got this in one of my Play! by Sephora boxes and I'm obsessed. I used to work at a fragrance counter and I hated this back then. For some reason it grew on me. I ran out of the small sample size sadly so I definitely plan on buying the full size.

• Shea Moisture All-Over Hydration Hand & Body Lotion: Guys, I am obsessed with this lotion! It leaves my skin feeling ultra soft. I've never had a lotion leave my skin this soft.

ABH Subculture Swatches ♡

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today, I'm going to be swatching the brand new Subculture palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I have a post on the first look I created using the palette, you can check that out here. Let's get right into the swatches!

Roxy, Electric, Fudge, New Wave, Untamed, Edge, and Rowdy ♡

Isn't this palette just so gorgeous? I am going to be doing a review once I've played with it a lot more. I will say, Cube was extremely hard to swatch! I don't know if it's because more of a topper or enhancer shade or what but wow. Other than that, everything else was super easy to swatch and they were so pigmented! Bronze Shadow with Yellow Liner ft. ABH Subculture and DesixKaty "Hot Fire"! ♡

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog! I can't believe I've posted three days in a row wow! I had three days off of work so I definitely took advantage cause I won't have time to post for a couple of days. Today I'm going to show you guys the look I created using the brand new palette from Anastasia, the Subculture palette! I will be having a separate post for swatches and reviewing so look out for that. I also used Desi and Katy's "Hot Fire" liquid lipstick from their collaboration with Dose of Colors.

Ulta Haul ♡ // Garnier, NYX, Essence + ABH!

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've done a haul post. I went to Ulta a couple of days ago in hopes of buying the Subculture palette and I was successful! There will be a whole post on my reviewing the palette and probably a separate post of just swatches so look out for that! Let's get right into what I purchased. 

• Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All in 1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover

• Essence Instant Matt Makeup Setting Spray

• NYX Vivid Brights Eyeliner in Vivid Halo

• Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture eye shadow palette

Play! by Sephora August Box ♡

Hello everyone! Welcome to another month of 2017! Today I'm going to be showing you guys what I received in my August edition of the Play! by Sephora monthly subscription box.

Alterna Haircare CAVIAR Anti-Aging Miracle Multiplying Volume Mist: I love getting haircare products! Having bleached hair I love trying out things that don't require heat use. I'm excited to see what this does to my natural hair.

Burberry My Burberry Black: This was one of my favorites when I worked at a fragrance counter! I'm happy to have received it this month.

Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick: One of the foundations I've been DYING to try! I purchased this during the VIB sale but unfortunately it was the wrong shade. I returned it and didn't have time to look at the other shades and never went back to buy it. Unfortunately, this is the same shade I bought haha. I'm still going to try it out to see if I like it and if I do, I'll go look for my perfect shade.

Clinique HIM Mascara Duo: So this comes with the primer and the mascara side, which is always great! I've tried this mascara before and it was pretty good. I've never tried the primer so I'm curious to see if it makes a difference.

Beauty Blender Micro Mini: Guys, I've been dying to try this ever since it came out! Everyone always told me it was pointless. I'm so excited that this was in the box! 

Korres Golden Krocus Ageless Saffron Elixir Serum: Pretty excited to try this as it seems like a luxurious product! I'm not at the age where anti-aging products are necessary but they're always good to have!

Overall, I thought this was a good box! Lots of things I'm excited to try. We'll see if any of them make it onto my monthly favorites. Thank you so much for reading today's post, hope you enjoyed! ♡♡
