January 2017 Favorites! ♡

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I'm going to be talking about my January favorites. The month honestly flew by! I always say the months fly by but what I feel like 2017 just started yesterday. I've been trying so much new makeup and skin care so I have lots of content to put out for you guys. I've been working a lot but I'm going to be posting on my days off! Let's get into my favorites for the month of January.

Let's start of with the skincare items I've been loving this month. First I want to talk about a new product, the First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer. I got a deluxe sample size when I placed an order from Sephora.com and wow it's so good! First of all, it smells amazing, it makes your skin sooo soft and feels great. If you're going to put foundation over it, it's going to go on so smooth. Once I run out of this I'm definitely buying the full size.
Next product is the Mario Badescu Facial Spray. I am so late on trying this! I bought it 2 months ago at Ulta and I am obsessed, this is my second bottle. I love to spray this all over my face when I finish my makeup and I also love spraying this in my hair.
The last skin care product I'm going to be talking about is the Sephora Almond Lip Balm. I love anything almond so I picked this up and you guys it straight up smells like a yummy almond smoothie you get at the boba shops! It makes my lips so moisturized and soft, I love it!
I have three makeup products I'm going to be talking about today. First is the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation. This is seriously one of the best foundations I ever tried! If you have oily skin this is a must for you. I don't even have to set my face with powder because this keeps me oil free for hours! If you're looking to try a new foundation and you get oily fast, try this one out.
Next is the Kylie Cosmetics Burgundy Palette. I did a blog post on this before so make sure to check it out! I went 2 months straight JUST using this palette that's how obsessed I was. The colors are so beautiful and easy to work with.
The last product I'm going to be talking about is the Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Wild Nothing. This is currently on sale for 20% as it's going to be discontinued! So if you're interested definitely make sure to purchase it now! This color is beautiful. It's a dark brown but nothing too intense or scary. It compliments every skin tone as well! I always get asked what I'm wearing when I have this shade on.
That's it for my January favorites, I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I'll be back in a couple of days with another.

New Colourpop Pressed Shadows! ♡

When I found out Colourpop was going to be coming out with pressed eyeshadows I got sooo excited! I ordered 6 of them seconds after they launched and then I ordered 4 more a couple days later. I'm waiting for my 4 other shades to come in as well as an empty palette to place them all in. I won't be reviewing the shadows in this post but I will be reviewing them in my next post along with the 4 other shades. Today, I'll just be showing you the shades I got along with swatches. Let's get right into it!

So when you order 4 shadows, you receive a free empty palette to place them in. All shadows come in a plastic case and then that comes in a cardboard type of case as well. So you can either put these in the Colourpop empty palette or your own empty palette such as a z palette or any other brand. The 6 shades that I ordered are Liar Liar, Wake Up Call, Top Notch, Popular Demand, Stay Golden, and Cute Alert.

From left to right:
  • Liar Liar
  • Wake Up Call
  • Top Notch
  • Popular Demand
  • Stay Golden
  • Cute Alert
That's it for today's blog post on the new pressed shadows from Colourpop! I can't wait to recieve my other shades in the mail so I can do a full review for you guys. I hope you enjoyed ♡

Sephora + Walgreens makeup haul ♡

I was doing so well posting and then I disappeared for two months. I've been so busy with work! I really want to get back into posting at least twice a week. I've bought so much new makeup that I want to review for you guys. Today will be a simple haul on some new makeup items I've purchased. Hopefully I can get some reviews up on these products once I've tried them enough. Let's start with what I purchased from Sephora!

The first thing I picked up was this mask set from Origins. I've tried a sample of the rose mask and fell in love! I've always wanted to try the charcoal one so when I saw that this set had both, I had to pick it up! It comes with the charcoal, rose, and overnight mask along with a mask primer.
Next, I finally picked up the Laura Mercier translucent powder! I've been wanting to try this forever but it's soooo expensive. I got the travel size which is still pretty expensive but I thought I'd get it to try it out first.
The last thing I picked up was one of the Too Faced Melted Matte lipsticks in "It's Happening." I own one other color and I loveee the formula and how long lasting they are.

The next items I purchased are from Walgreens! I love going to Walgreens but man do I get sucked in by all the good deals on makeup. The first thing I picked up is this new pair of eyelashes from the brand Eyelure. They're the Vlogger Series collabs they did with some youtubers. The ones I got are created by Krazyrayray and they're so beautiful! I haven't gotten a chance to actually wear these but I hope they're as beautiful on as they are in the package. The next thing I got was one of the new Wet N Wild liquid lipsticks. I'm excited to try this cause I love trying every liquid lipstick out there and these are from such an affordable brand! Also from Wet N Wild, I picked up some more of their brushes which I love! I got a powder brush cause I was in desperate need of a new one, and a good ol shadow brush. The last thing I picked up was some eyelash glue. My favorite lash glue is from Kiss and it's the one in the little tube that has a rubber spatula like thing but I wasn't able to find it! So, I picked up a regular glue from the same brand and it's amazing! Works just like the other one and keeps your lashes on allll day.

So that is it for today's blog post and haul. I hope you guys enjoyed! Again, I can't wait to start posting more on here. My next post will most likely be my January faves so look out for that!
