Play! by Sephora December Box ♡

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I'm going to be showing you guys what I received in the last Sephora box of the year. Let's get right into the items!

THEME: The 2017 Play! List
Smashbox Covershot Eye Shadow Duo in Golden Hour: The colors in this are cute but I'm honestly not going to reach for this. I'm going to be giving it to my mom.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in Vintage: Another thing I'm not going to use. I don't wear gloss so this will also be going to be my mom.
Drybar Triple Sec 3-in-1: I'm excited to try this. I love dry shampoos and I've heard nothing but good things about Drybar!
Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Wheat: I've tried this before and loved it! It makes for a great eye base.
Peter Thomas Roth 24k Gold Pure Luxury Lift + Firm Prism Cream: I've never heard of this product but I'm intrigued to try it out. I love trying new skin care products!
Tom Ford Black Orchid: I've only ever smelled a couple of Tom Ford fragrances and this is one that I haven't. I love getting perfume samples cause I always love trying out new scents!

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with this box. I was hoping it would be a fantastic box since it is the last of the year. I'm really looking forward to the January box, hopefully they start the new year off with some great products! Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed.

Colourpop "Golden State of Mind" palette swatches ♡

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I'm going to be swatching a palette that I've been loving. Colourpop came out with this palette on the Sephora website a little over a month ago and I ordered it as soon as it came out. Golden State of Mind is a palette of stunning shimmer and glitter shades. Let's get right into the swatches!

Overall, this palette is gorgeous! It's great to have a palette of just shimmer and glitter shades to choose from. Sephora, Colourpop, and Glossier haul ♡

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! I recently bought a couple things online during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I mainly bought clothes but I did purchase a bit of makeup. I ordered from Sephora, Colourpop, and Glossier. Let's get right into the haul!

C O L O U R P O P
Colourpop had their eyeshadow palettes 20% and came out with a new one called the Double Entendre palette. It's a neutrals palette which I probably didn't need but I had to have it! The metallic rose gold packaging is so beautiful. I'll definitely be doing a separate post all on this palette so look out for that. The last thing I got from them was an ultra matte lip from their holiday collection. I was a bit bummed that it didn't come in the holiday packaging I saw on their IG but it's a beautiful bright red called Snowfleek.

S E P H O R A
Sephora never really has excited Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals but they did release a limited edition mini Colourpop palette. Take Me Home is the palette and the packaging is sooo cute! The shades are right up my alley so of course I had to buy it. The palette is $12 and it still on the Sephora website and will be up on Colourpop's as well. Last thing is something I've been dying to try. Sephora did come out with a mini set for Black Friday but it sold out so I just bought the full size. Too Cool For School's Pumpkin Sleeping Pack is something I've been dying to try cause so many people have raved about it. I've already used it a couple of times and I wake up with the softest skin ever!

G L O S S I E R
Glossier was having a pretty good Cyber Monday sale, 20% with free shipping. I only ordered one thing which is their Rose Balm Dotcom. Their balms are great for more than just lips. They have other tints and scents but of course I had to go with rose. This makes my lips sooo soft!

That's all for my little haul. Like I said, I went more crazy buying clothes this time around haha. I will be doing posts on the two Colourpop palettes so look out for those! Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed

Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism palette swatches ♡

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! I've had the Prism palette for about 2 months now and realized I never did a post about it. I'm going to be swatching all the shades from this palette today. I feel like ABH came out with this super quick after coming out with the Subculture palette. I loved the packaging but didn't think I really needed it. I saw it in person at work and saw that it had gorgeous shimmer shades so I decided to purchase it. I noticed that it could be perfectly paired with a lot of the shades in the Subculture palette. Let's get right into the swatches!

 Lucid, Eden, Unity, Sphinx, Osiris
Sphere, Obsidian, Dimension, Parallel, Pyramid
Throne, Saturn, Eternal, and Lure

I've used this palette a couple of times and have had no problems with any of the shades! They're all super pigmented and buttery. The shimmer/glitter shades are seriously a dream. That is all for today's post. I will be doing looks using this palette and posting them so look out for those. Thank you so much for reading, hope you enjoyed!

November '17 Favorites! ♡

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! I haven't done a monthly favorites in foreverrrr! I'm finally going to be doing one for the month of November and hopefully from now on. I have so many great things I want to talk about today so let's get into it.

Touch In Sol No Poreblem Primer: I'm so in love with this primer! It makes my foundation glide on so easily and makes it look flawless. It dries down a tad bit tacky which I'm not the biggest fan of but once your foundation goes over it's completely fine. It's also a super affordable primer!
Colourpop Troublemaker Ultra Matte Lip: This is by far my all time favorite Colourpop matte lip shade! I love orange lips and this is the perfect shade for me. It's not too warm or too bright.
Fenty Beauty Foundation: I bought this after all the hype and because I love Rihanna haha. It dries down matte which I love so I don't really have to worry about powdering. You can build it up to a full coverage too or keep it at a medium coverage.
Givenchy Beautifying Balm: I got this in one of the Sephora luxury boxes and immediately fell in love with it! I had to buy the full size during the VIB sale. It plumps your lips but doesn't burn them and it gives you the perfect pink tint.
Anastasia Subculture palette: When I first saw pictures of this I knew I had to have it! Then everyone started reviewing it and giving it horrible feedback so I was debating on getting it. I couldn't stop thinking about the palette cause it's such a gorgeous palette so I caved and purchased it. I actually really liked it except for one shade that just didn't work out for me.
Stila Glitter & Glow in Rose Gold Retro: I've been using this so much, it's so gorgeous! You don't have to fuss with loose glitter and it getting all over the place cause this just glides right on and dries down pretty quickly.
AmorePacific Vintage Essence: I hate how much I love this because it is beyond out of my budget. I got this in one of the Sephora luxury boxes as well which is how I got to try it in the first place. It is seriously so good! I instantly noticed it working after about a week of using it. It helped with my texture and evening out my skin tone. I also noticed that it gave me a healthy glow.

I'm so happy to be back to doing monthly favorites! I've been buying so much makeup so I have plenty to try out. Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed!

2017 Sephora VIB Sale Haul ♡

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! Happy thanksgiving! I'm so excited for today's post. I'm going to be showing you guys what I purchased during this years Sephora VIB sale! I'm so close to becoming a VIB Rouge which honestly scares me haha. Let's get into what I purchased!

Sephora Favorites: Prime, Set, Go: When I saw this on the website I knew I had to have it! I've tried a couple of these primers already and loved them! The other primers that were in this that I haven't tried, I've been wanting to so of course I had to purchase this! This is also great for gifting to someone.
Beauty Blender Swirl: I'm constantly buying beauty blenders cause I love them so much and use them so often. When I saw this cute swirl one I had to have it!
Commodity Rain Perfume: I love trying out new perfumes so when I went into the store the display for this brand caught my eyes. It was so simple yet so chic. I sprayed a couple and fell in love with this scent! It is now my everyday perfume and I always get asked what fragrance I'm wearing.
Violet Voss Holy Grail eyeshadow palette: I have been dying to buy this palette ever since it came out. Now that Sephora carries Violet Voss I decided to purchase it online. This palette is $45 and I didn't want to spend that much without ever trying shadows from this brand so the sale was the perfect time to purchase it!
Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel: My best friend works at Sephora and she used this on me once and I was so amazed at how easily it took off dead skin and dirt! It's seriously such a great exfoliator that will get everything off of your face.
Givenchy Le Rouge Perfecto Beautifying Lip Balm: I got this in one of the limited edition luxury play boxes and fell in love! It's such a great lip balm. It plumps your lips but doesn't burn, gives them a nice pink tint, and makes them so soft!
Sephora Cleansing & Exfoliating Charcoal Wipes: I love Sephora's exfoliating wipes! I usually get the green tea ones but decided to switch it up and get the charcoal ones this time.

That's everything I got from this years VIB sale! Let me know what you guys got, I'd love to know. Thank you so much for reading, hope you enjoyed!

Warm Glitter Cut Crease ♡

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I'm going to be telling you about the products that I use to create this warm glitter cut crease. I got so many compliments on this look when I wore it! Let's get right into the products.

♡foundation: Fenty Beauty Foundation in 190
♡concealer: Tarte Shape Tape in Light
♡eyes: Violet Voss Holy Grail palette (Thanks A Latte, Transition, and R U Kitten Me), Colourpop Supernova Shadow in Firecracker, NYX Matte black liner, Dior Diorshow mascara
♡lashes: Killa Beauty lashes in Maria

That's it for today's look. It was my first time trying out one of the new Colourpop Supernova Shadows and wow they are gorgeous! I can't wait to buy more. I will say, if you are cutting your crease make sure you set the concealer with powder before applying it. You don't need to cut your crease with a concealer though, you can go right in and cut it with the applicator of the shadow! Thank you so much for reading, hope you enjoyed

Play! by Sephora The Beauty Remedy Edition ♡

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! I've meant to post this for a couple of weeks now but kept forgetting. Sephora came out with another luxury edition of their play boxes and I purchased it. It was called the Beauty Remedy edition and it was $20. This one was wayyyy better than the last one! I absolutely love each product that came in the box. Let's get right into what I received.

Giorgio Armani Beauty Ecstasy Shine 400: This is such a gorgeous red lipstick! I can't bring myself to use it cause it looks so perfect.
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Primer: I have been dying to try this but the price definitely scares me haha. I'm so glad this was included in the box because I finally get to try it! It's an amazing primer. It's a good size so it'll last me a while and I can contemplate buying the full size.
Givenchy Le Rouge Perfecto Beautifying Lip Balm: I fell in love with this product after using it once! It makes my lips feel so soft. It does claim to plump and it does but it doesn't burn your lips at all. You feel a cooling sensation not a burning one which is great! I bought the full size during the VIB sale, that's how much I loved it.
Amore Pacific Vintage Single Extract Essence: I was shocked at how generous in size this was! It's like a true travel size that you'd purchase. I love this essence. It makes me skin feel so soft and hydrated.
La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Cream: I've never tried a La Mer product and never thought I would haha. When I saw this in the box I freaked! It's an amazing moisturizer. It's thick so it'll take a while to soak into your skin but wow it's so good!
Atelier Cologne Santal Carmin Pure Perfume: I love perfumes and this scent is right up my ally! It's also a nice size.

This box was seriously so good I'm still shocked! For $20, it was definitely worth it. If you have the chance to purchase their limited edition play boxes, please do so! Thank you so much for reading, hope you enjoyed!

Colourpop 20% off sale Haul ♡

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! Last week Colourpop had a 20% off site wide sale so of course I ordered a couple of items. Ugh, I love Colourpop so much! I order from them at least twice a month which I wish I could stop but I can't haha. Anyways, let's get into the items that I purchased!

Large empty eyeshadow palette: I own one of these and it's seriously the best empty palette ever! I used to store all my shadows in the MUFE XL empty palette but transferred the ones that fit into this one. I knew I needed another one to put some more of my shadows in so I went ahead and got it.
Small tapered brush E9: I have a couple of their brushes and they work so well for being so affordable so I went ahead and picked up one of their new ones! I like how they have the style of the brush on the handle now.
My Little Pony x Colourpop Cherries Jubilee super shock shadow: When this first launched I thought it was so gorgeous but I convinced myself I didn't need anything from this collection. It came back in stock and since it was a sale I decided to purchase it.
Now and Zen single shadow: Ugh this shade is so gorgeous!! I know I'm going to get a lot of use out of it.
Snake Eyes single shadow: Another gorgeous shimmer shade. I swear, Colourpop makes some of the best shimmer shades ever!
Supernova Shadow in Firecracker: Colourpop just came out with these stunning liquid glitter shadows and of course I had to get one to try out! I can't wait to use it and see if I like the formula.
Ultra Matte Lippie in Speed Dial: I love orange lips and when I saw this shade (even though I have similar ones) I had to have it!

That's all for today's blog post. I do plan on doing a November favorites since I haven't done a favorites in so long! So hopefully you'll be seeing some of the products in my favorites. Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed!

October '17 Birchbox ♡

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! I'm super excited about today's blog post because it's something new to me. I recently subscribed to Birchbox! If you're not familiar with Birchbox, it's a monthly beauty subscription box that's been around for years. It's $10 a month. I've been wanting to subscribe to it forever but never got around to it. The first box I've got is the October 2017 one. Let's jump right into what I got!

THEME: Behind the Scenes
[comfort zone] Hydramemory Cream Gel: This is a cream moisturizer basically. I love drying out new face creams so I'm pretty excited to see how this works for me.
Davine's LOVE Smoothing Shampoo: This is perfect because I'm actually looking for a new shampoo and conditioner at the moment. It claims to help with frizz which is something I need in hair products!
Davine's LOVE Smoothing Conditioner *bonus*: So this is a little bonus product in the box. It's the conditioner to go along with the shampoo. Conditioner is something I cannot live without.
Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner - Black: I don't branch out when it comes to eyeliners, when I like something I stick to it. But, I'm excited to give this a try, maybe it'll become one of my go-to liners.
Lavanila The Healthy Fragrance Pure Vanilla Eau de Parfum: Love getting perfume samples! It allows me to try various fragrances without paying a steep price.
OUAI Rose Hair & Body Oil: I love anything rose so I already know I'm going to love this! I like using hair oils as well so this is something I'll get use out of.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick in Envious *bonus*: To be honest, I threw this away. It was a tiny bit of lipstick in a peel away foil. The color was gorgeous though!

Overall I think this was a decent box with some pretty useful items. I'm excited to see what the next box brings me. Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed!

Play! by Sephora October Box ♡

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today I'm going to be showing you guys what I received in my October edition of the Play! by Sephora monthly subscription box. I know this is pretty late, my bad. When I received the box, one of my items was missing. I DM'ed Sephora on Twitter and right away they told me they'd send me my missing item. They seriously have the best customer service! Let's get into what I got in this month's box.

THEME: Complexion Companions
Urban Decay Optical Illusion Complexion Primer: This is one of my fave primers at the moment! I have the full size of this so I'm going to be giving this one to a friend. It's a great primer for smoothing the skin and helps with pores.
Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation in Y245: Surprisingly I have never tried this foundation! It's a favorite of a lot of people so I'm pretty sure I'll like it. Hopefully the color is a good match.
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea 4-in-1 Setting Mist: This is a product I've been interested in trying so I'm super excited I got it! I love any kind of facial sprays.
Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Skin Booster: Haven't heard too much on this product. It's supposed to be paired with the foundation so I'm intrigued to see how they'll compliment each other.
Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion Pore Perfecting Scrub: I've been dying to try this! This was actually what was left out of my box and I was so bummed. Thankfully Sephora was amazing and sent it to me with no problem!
Tory Burch Bel Azur Fragrance: I'm a huge fan of their Love Relentlessly fragrance so I'm hoping I'll like this one as well!

Overall, this box was pretty good! I love the theme of it and they did well at selecting products to compliment each other. I'm excited to see what the November box will bring. Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed!

Play! by Sephora September Box ♡

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog! I know this post is a bit late but I still wanted to get it up. Today I'm going to be showing you the products that I received in my September Play! by Sephora box. Let's get right into it!

Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow in Medium: I'm not too big on brow gels but I've been wanting to try this product ever since it launched!
Laura Mericer Velour Lovers Lip Colour in Happy: Not a fan of this color at all so I gave it to my grandma and she really liked it!
Stila Stay All Day Eye Liner: I remember buying the full size of this about two years ago and I did not like it. I'm excited to try it again and give it another chance.
Belif The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb: Guys, this is one of the best moisturizers ever! It leaves your skin feeling ultra hydrated. I highly recommend this product.
DevaCurl Melt into Moisture Matcha Butter Conditioning Mask: I live for hair masks so I am so excited to try this product out! AND it has matcha in it? Yes please!
CLEAN Reserve Sel Santal and Citron Fig: I was so excited to see this in my bag this month! Sel Santal is one of my favorite fragrances ever! It's definitely more of a masculine scent but I love it. I tried the Citron Fig one and it wasn't for me.

That's all for today's post. Overall, I think this was a pretty okay box! Thank you so much for reading, hope you enjoyed. ♡♡
