Fave Affordable Palettes of 2015!

With the year coming to an end I thought I would do a couple blog posts of some of my fave makeup items! I've compiled three of my fave affordable eye shadow palettes and three high end eye shadow palettes.

The first palette I want to talk about is the BH Cosmetics 28 Color Neutral Eyeshadow Palette. If you needed just ONE eyeshadow palette from BH Cosmetics, this is the one you need in my opinion. This is a great palette to get if you're barely starting out with makeup and building your makeup collection. Most of the colors are shimmery but the matte ones are great colors and some of my faves from the palette. Super affordable and great quality! Below are swatches of 6 of my fave shades from the palette.

The second palette I'd like to talk about is another BH Cosmetics palette. It's the 26 Color Eyeshadow and Blush Palette. I personally have a love/hate relationship with this palette because some of the shades aren't pigmented. With some of them you really have to build them up but once you do, they are so beautiful. I bought this palette because I thought it would be the closest I'd get to the Morphe 35O palette. It has some similar shades to it so I decided to get it. It's really affordable so if you'd like to try it out, I suggest you do! Below are swatches of 6 of my fave shades from the palette.

The last palette I'm going to talk about is my fave palette out of the rest. It's the Morphe 35O palette which was HUGE this year! It's constantly sold out because it is in such high demand. It's an amazing palette! I'm so in love with it, I use it almost each time I do my makeup. It's definitely a must have palette. If you have the chance to get it once it comes back in stock, please, do not pass it up! The shades are so beautiful in this, especially the orange shades and the glittery ones. I highly recommend this palette!

Favorite Red Lipsticks!

I've been meaning to do this post for a while because who doesn't love a good red lipstick?! I managed to compile 12 of my favorite red lipsticks (including a gloss.) I hope you guys enjoy this post and continue reading!

Let's start with the first row.
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in 250-Standout: I have a couple of these matte balms and this is definitely one of my favorites! It's such a beautiful matte red. It doesn't feel dry at all and doesn't make my lips crack. Great drugstore matte red lipstick. This is currently on sale at Ulta!
ELF Lipstick in #7712-Fearless: Another great drugstore red lipstick! Unfortunately mine broke out of the tube really fast but I just stuck it back in. It has a shine to it but nothing crazy to wear it looks glossy or oily. For only a dollar, I'd recommend this.
Revlon in 725-Love That Red: A classic red lipstick. I love Revlon lipsticks and I own quite a few from this line. This is my favorite lipstick formula from the drugstore. These are currently on sale at Ulta, so check them out!
Rimmel London Kate Collection in 111-Kiss of Life: My second favorite drugstore lipsticks! I love these Kate collection lipsticks, they are life. I own a couple colors and love them all. This is one of my favorite reds ever. It's apart of the matte collection but not drying at all.
Revlon Lipstick in 525-Wine With Everything: This is a darker red. It has a mauve-berry tone to it.  Like I said, my favorite drugstore lipstick formula!
Rimmel London Kate Collection in 01: Another Kate collection lipstick. This is from the regular line, not the matte line.
Moving onto the bottom row and last 6 lipsticks!
MAC Riri Woo: This is basically Ruby Woo but for the Rihanna MAC Collection. Not even gonna lie, the packaging is what made me buy this. It was sold out when I wanted it so I bought it on eBay for about $36, crazy I know. This is the perfect matte red lipstick! Like I said, it's basically Ruby Woo so if you want this you'd have to get that.
Ulta Lipstick in 203: When Ulta was having a sale I bought a bunch of these lipsticks to try them out. By the way, they're currently on sale for Buy 2, Get 2 Free! I do like some of them and this is one of them. This is a deeper red shade and it's a cream. It glides onto the lips so smoothly!
ELF Matte Lip Color in Rich Red: I'm not the biggest fan of lip pencils but when I saw this on the ELF website I had to have it! It's such a beautiful, pigmented, matte red. It's only $3, so it's definitely worth it.
Loreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Lip Color in 304-Ruby Opera: This isn't the most comfortable lip product in my opinion, but I love the color. It's kind of a lip stain but also kind of a lip oil if that makes sense. I'm not a huge fan of the perfume smell but like I said, I love the color!
NYX Butter Gloss in Cherry Pie: I am not a gloss girl, at all. But I wanted to try out a red glossy lip. I like to pair this over a matte red lipstick. I actually really love this over a matte red lipstick. It isn't sticky at all and it's so vibrant.
Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer in Big Bang: When these first came out, I was so interested in trying them out. Now, these are some of my favorite lip products. I really like both this formula and the velvet matte ones. This is such a beautiful bright red! And it smells like watermelon and chamoy candy ugh so good.

Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks! Review/Swatches

I've had a couple of the Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks for a while now, probably since they first launched. I can't believe I never did a review on them! I thought now would be the perfect time since Christmas is coming up. If you've wanted to try these out but weren't sure, then keep on reading.

The five colors I have are Succulent, Tulle, Bumble, Avenue, and Trap.
Let me start off by saying my two faves are Tulle and Avenue! They are so beautiful and if you're thinking of purchasing any of them, definitely get these two. Tulle is a beautiful dark mauve color. If you like natural colors but still want some darkness, this color is going to be perfect for you! I cannot stand wearing nudes so for me this is the perfect everyday color. Avenue on the other hand is this gorgeous dark red. I live for Avenue. I feel so sexy when I wear this color. I love wearing it with both natural and dramatic eye looks.
Let's talk about the other three colors I have. Succulent is a bright orange shade which I honestly haven't worn more than twice. The reason is because since fall and winter is the time where it's highly appropriate to wear dark lips. I love my orange lips in the spring and summer so trust me, this is probably all I'm going to be wearing!
Bumble is kind of like Tulle, but way lighter. I'm not even going to lie, I never wear this color. I've worn it maybe once or twice. Like I said, I just prefer the darker colors. It's so rare that you'll see me with a light color. Don't get me wrong, this is a beautiful color, but not something I reach for often.
The last color I have is Trap. I was so excited to try this color. I've always wanted a gray lipstick but I've always been scared. I couldn't choose between this color and Beeper. I went with Trap cause it was a lighter gray and more natural. I'm in no way bashing here, but I absolutely hate this color, on me. I don't like the way it looks on me at all! It's too light and nude for my taste and I've tried it on twice and wiped it off both times. It looks great on my friend though, she loves it! I've seen so many people that can pull this color off but I personally cannot. So if you like nudes, this color is a must have for you.
Overall, these liquid lipsticks are some of the best I've tried. I like the way they dry on my lips. I haven't had any problems with these. I'm definitely going to be ordering more shades! Oh, I forgot to mention, they're only $6!

2015 Black Friday Haul!

Hello everyone! This year I did some online shopping for Black Friday. There was so many good deals but I had to stop myself from literally buying everything I saw. I said I wasn't going to buy anymore makeup for a month but then this happened.

Morphe Brushes was having a 20% off for Black Friday. I've always wanted to try their makeup brushes but I already have so many that I really shouldn't be buying anymore. But since I couldn't pass up on the deal I decided to order some eye brushes. I have way more face brushes than eye brushes and I'm in need of more brushes for blending. I got 5 brushes which turned out to be about $25. The shipping was super cheap as well! The 5 brushes I got were the B18, B83, E13, E22, and the E23.
I placed an order on Sephora as well. I sadly didn't get to purchase any of the Black Friday $10 deals. There were two that I really wanted but they were already sold out. I ended up just getting 2 things. I got the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid in Echo. I've been dying to get this shade. I've never owned a blue lipstick and when I saw this I fell in love. I've worn it twice already and I love it! The last thing I got is a mini YSL mascara. It was 100 points and I wanted to try a new mascara so I got it.
I've always wanted to try the LA Girl concealers. I was on ebay, as always, and came across a seller from California that was selling the concealers for an amazing deal. 3 colors for about $7! The 3 colors I got were Neutral, Creamy Beige, and the Orange Corrector. So far I'm really liking these!
The last thing I got was the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. This was on sale on the Kohl's website for $4! I've used this for foundation, concealer, and baking. Don't really like it for my foundation but I liked it for concealer. The flat slanted side is perfect for baking!

November 2015 Faves!

Another month has flown by! I swear November went by so fast. This is probably one of my favorite months because I got to try so many amazing makeup products! I got my hands on stuff I've been wanting to try for a while and I'm so excited to share them with you.

Morphe 35O Palette: I FINALLY got my hands on this! Every single time they re-stock it, it sells out in less than an hour. People go crazy for this palette because look at it, it's stunning. It's the perfect fall palette but for a warm shadow lover, it's a perfect palette in general. There are so many amazing shades in this that it's a must have. I've been creating lots of looks with this that I love. I definitely need to try out more Morphe palettes.
Forumla X The Cut - Fall 2015 Collection Nail Polish in "Acclaimed": I was in Sephora and went to the sale section and found about 6 bottles of this color. Nude nail polishes are my weakness and when I saw that it was only $4, I had to get it. It's become my go to color!
Kiss Lashes in "11": Every time I go to a drugstore I always head towards the lashes in hopes of finding my favorite Ardell pair. I saw these and thought they'd be good so I picked them up. I didn't know that they'd become my favorite lashes I've ever tried! They're so long and wispy and compliment my eyes so much. I always get compliments when I wear these as well. 5 pairs for under $9? You can't beat that.
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in "Damned": These liquid lipsticks have quickly become my favorite liquid lipsticks I've ever tried. They have so many colors to choose from which is a plus. When I saw this shade in the store I HAD to have it. Now, I can't stop wearing it every time I do my makeup. It's the perfect vampy shade.
Anastasia Brow Wiz in "Caramel": Since recently going blonde and bleaching my brows, I needed a new brow pencil. This color goes perfectly with my hair, it's not too light and not too dark.
Nars Creamy Radiance Concealer in "Custard": I have always wanted to try it since every one recommends it. I was in the checkout line at Sephora and saw the travel size and picked it up so fast. I like the coverage and color a lot but, I've noticed my under eyes start creasing way faster when I wear this. The creasing is the only thing I don't like about this product.
Kiss Lash Glue: I've been wanting a lash glue that comes with an applicator since it seemed easier. When I picked up the Kiss lashes I mentioned earlier, I saw this and picked it up as well. This is my favorite lash glue I've ever tried. It gets tacky so quick and really keeps my lashes on all day!
Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Smoothing Primer: Again, another product I've been wanting to try since it came out. But the price is no joke. Since I've never tried any of these primers I didn't want to spend $36. I saw the travel size and thought it was a good time to try it out. I've fallen in love with this primer! It works great at diminishing my pores and it makes my skin so soft. My foundation goes on so much easier when I have this on.
