Sephora + Colourpop Haul! ♡

Hello everyone welcome back to my blog! I recently purchased some things from Sephora and Colourpop so I thought why not do a little blog post and show you guys what I got. I haven't tried all of the products yet so I'll throw in a small review for the ones I have tried. Let's get into it!

The first thing I picked up from Sephora is something I've been dying to try! It's the Shiseido Ibuki Smart Filtering Smoother Serum. This recently came out and I was so intrigued. It does not claim to be a primer but some people have used it for that. I mainly wanted this for when I'm wearing no make up but still want my skin to look good. I'm such an oily mess so this thing worked wonders! I put some all over my face and it instantly sets and turns matte and you're good to go! This lasted me about 5 hours at work while walking and carrying stuff a lot. I can't wait to try it on top of and under my make up.
The next thing I picked up was the Sephora Rose Micellar Cleansing Milk. I'm obsessed with anything rose so when I saw this on the website I knew I wanted to try it. I picked it up in store and I've used it a couple of times. It really cleans and removes any dirt that's on my skin but I'm not the biggest feeling of the way it feels on my face afterwards. It's not sticky but I just don't like it.
The last thing is something I've also been dying to try. The girl from Sephora sold me on this! It's the Urban Decay Optical Illusion Complexion Primer. I've been trying new primers lately since I've always used the same ones. I have pores and a bit of texture and I'm oily so I gravitate towards primers meant for those things. When she said this would help with pores and oiliness I was immediately sold. She also mentioned that all the associates were in love with this. I haven't tried this yet as I haven't been wearing make up but I plan on doing a review once I get to play around with it.
From Colourpop I bought both of the palettes they came out with for their monochromatic collections. They just released another one and I'm debating if I need it or not. The two palettes I ordered were the Blow Me Away palette and the Belle of the Ball palette. I'm obsessed with any shadows that are peachy, orange, and pink so I'm already in love with these even though I haven't used them. Once again, once I get to play around with these I plan on doing a review!

That's it for today's post, I hope you guys enjoyed!

Play! by Sephora February 2017 Review! ♡

Hey everyone! Welcome back to my blog. I haven't posted in a couple of weeks as I've been so busy with work. Today is finally my day off and I just had to blog. Today I'm going to be reviewing the February Play! by Sephora subscription box. I did a review on the January box if you'd like to check it out just click here. Let's get right on into the review.

Clinique Pep Start Hydroblur Moisturizer: I'm always so excited to try anything that claims to blur your pores so when I saw this in the bag I was so excited! I've tried this a couple times before applying my primer and makeup and I'm not so sure that it blurs but it does feel good on the skin and makes my skin smooth for foundation.
Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream: I love trying new eye creams. Even though I'm only 21, it's never too late to start with great skincare. This gave a refreshing feeling and just felt so nice under the eyes. I love using this in the mornings.
Marc Jacobs Divine Decadence: I used to work in fragrances and this was one of the perfumes I just never liked so when I saw this I was a little bit bummed. I wanted to try a new perfume or something I liked so I gave this little sample to my mom and she liked it a lot!
NARS Velvet Lip Glide in "Bound": I wasn't as excited to try this as it seemed like a glossy texture but I acctually ended up loving this! I love to wear this when I'm doing a no makeup makeup look as it adds the perfect amount of color and texture on the lip.
Sephora Lashcraft  Length + Volume Mascara: I'm always down to try new mascaras as I have no lashes. This did a great job at giving me length but really no volume. This is a perfect mascara if you already have naturally thick lashes as it does give length.
Too Faced Lip Injection Gloss: I'm not a gloss person at all and when I saw the color I knew my mom would love it. She tried it and said it immediately burned her lips so bad that she had to take it off. I know lip plumping products should sting a little bit but I don't think they should burn so bad that you immediately have to take it off.

Overall this month's box was pretty good. I liked and used 4/6 products so not bad at all! The bag it all came in was probably my favorite haha. I love anything pink. I can't wait to see next month's bag and you will definitely get a review on that. I hope you guys enjoyed!

February 2017 Favorites! ♡

Hello everyone! Can you believe we're already in March? Every month keeps flying by and I can't handle it. I don't have many favorites this month because there hasn't been that many new products I've been trying or buying. I also haven't really gotten a chance to play with makeup either. But I plan on buying and trying lots of new stuff this month! Let's get into my favorites for the month of February.

Killa Beauty lashes in Josie: I discovered this brand a couple of weeks ago thanks to an amazing makeup artist I follow on instagram by the name of @Juantawn. He was wearing these and they looked so stunning so I had to order them. You guys, these lashes are $5!! Such an amazing price for such amazing quality lashes. And the packaging is just everything.
Make Up For Ever Star Lit Powder in 15: I ordered this back in January and when it got here I was so excited to try it. It looks absolutely stunning on the eyes! It's so reflective and shimmery and just downright gorgeous. I need the rest of the shades in my life asap.
The Makeup Shack Blending Eye Brush 98: I've been hearing about the makeup shack for months now and how amazing their lashes and brushes are so I had to order some. This brush is seriously a life saver. It blends your shadow out so fast and beautifully. When I wake up late I just take this brush and a light brown and blend it into my crease and throw on a shimmery color on the lid and I'm good to go.
Tarte Shape Tape in Light: Everyone has been hyping this concealer up so of course I had to get it. They didn't have the shade I wanted so I settled for light which is a tad bit too light for me. But this concealer is one of the best concealers I have every tried! It's super full coverage but does not feel thick at all. It blends into the skin beautifully.
Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Mama: When I saw Colourpop swatching this shade from their fall collection I ran to my laptop and ordered it. I love orange lip products and this looked so unique and like nothing I already own. The amount of compliments I get when I wear this color is a bit overwhelming haha. It looks so stunning on and can honestly be worn year round.

That's it for my favorites, I hope you guys enjoyed and see you next time!
