Kylie Cosmetics' The Burgundy Palette Swatches! ♥

I caved and purchased the second eye shadow palette that Kylie Cosmetics has come out with. When I told a couple people that I wanted to purchase it, everyone told me not to! But I couldn't help myself, I saw this and thought it was so beautiful. I'm all about the warm tones, oranges, burgundy's, browns, so this palette instantly caught my eyes. It is pretty similar looking to the Modern Renaissance palette which I will be doing a whole blog post kind of comparing the two. So, here are swatches of all 9 shades from The Burgundy Palette, enjoy!

Swatches from left to right:
Naked, Beach, Penny, LA, Burgundy

My Fave Fall/Winter Liquid Lipsticks ♥

Dark lipsticks are my fave! But dark liquid lipsticks are even better! I honestly don't remember when the last time was that I wore a regular lipstick and not a liquid one. Here are my fave colors for the fall and winter!

• NYX Lip Lingerie in "Teddy": I love wearing this color when I want something light but it's still dark at the same time if that even makes sense. This shade gives you a grungy look and darkens up your look as well without being too in your face.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in "Ashton": Ugh, this color is seriously so beautiful and I do not regret buying it. It works on every skin tone! It's a beautiful nude terracotta shade.
• Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in "Chilly Chili": One of my fave Colourpop lippie I own! I always get so many compliments when I wear this. Although this is not a unique shade, it's definitely a shade you need. Unfortunately, they don't sell this shade anymore.
Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in "Are N Be": Wow this shade had me falling in love to the point where I wore it for a month straight! It's unlike any shade I've worn before. It's a darker color but bright at the same time and honestly perfect to wear all year.
Ulta Matte Lip Cream in "Allusive": While the formula of this is my least favorite, the color is seriously so pretty. I don't own many true purples so when I do feel like wearing purple, this is my go to.
• Colourpop Matte Lip in "Kae": Oh my God, this collection is seriously the best collab they've done! This is pretty similar to Limbo but it's a couple shades darker and has a more nude-ish undertone.
Colourpop Matte Lip in "Limbo": If you want a dark brown liquid lipstick, then you definitely need this one! It works well with every skin tone in my opinion plus you can't beat the price!
Too Faced Melted Matte in "Drop Dead Red": The formula to this lipstick is one of the most comfortable formulas I've ever tried. I wouldn't really call this a red but more of a very dark berry.
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in "Damned": This is such a stunning shade! It's the darkest burgundy/brown shade that I own.

2016 Sephora VIB Sale Haul ♥

I've been waiting for this time of year! My first vib sale experience was last year and I loved it. I had three things I for sure wanted to get and sadly I only got one. I wanted the new ABH Masterpalette by Mario but it was sold out! And I wanted the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder but they didn't have the full size so I passed on that. I did get some other things! Some of these I've used before but some I haven't so let's get into it.

The one thing that was on my list that I was able to get is the Urban Decay All Nighter foundation! I'm so excited to try this as I've heard nothing but good things. Also, this is a matte foundation which is my fave kind since I'm so oily. I'll definitely be doing a review on this!
The next thing I picked up is something I've used hundreds of times before, the Anastasia Brow Wiz! It's a holy grail for me and I always have to have one on hand.
The next item is also an oldie but a goodie, the Benefit Porefessional Primer. It's one of my fave primers ever and I haven't picked it up in a while so I thought i'd go back to it.
Next I picked up a pair of eyelashes from the House of Lashes x Sephora collab. I own one pair of HOL lashes and I really like them so I thought I'd give these a try! They're in the style Seductress and they're honestly gorgeous, I can't wait to try them out.
The last thing I picked up is a staple, makeup removing wipes. These are the Sephora Coconut Water wipes and I'm excited to try them because I love everything and anything coconut! These are for soothing and hydrating so my skin will love them!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette ♥

So I've talked about this palette a couple of times here on my blog yet I've never done a single post dedicated to it! Today I'm going to be talking about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette! So, let's get started. The moment sneak peeks of this palette started coming out, everyone was in love with how beautiful it is! The colors in this are so stunning. I'm going to be talking about each shade in this palette and what I think of it.

The first shade in this palette is called Tempera. When I first saw it I thought it was just your standard matte bone shade. This shade is like a satin with the tiniest bit of shimmer in it, it's beautiful! I love using it all over my lid when I don't really feel like doing eye shadow.
The next shade in the palette is Golden Ochre. I've used this a couple times when I've wanted a bit of a darker color on the lid. It's a pretty matte khaki like color and looks great when used in cut creases!
Next shade is Vermeer, this is a STUNNING champagne shade! It's so shimmery and beautiful, I love using it on my lid when I'm doing a regular glam look or a cut crease. Definitely one of my faves from this palette.
Next shade in the palette is Buon Fresco, another one of my favorites from the palette. This shade is a matte cool toned purple. It's gorgeous in the crease which is where I like to use it!
The next shade is Antique Bronze. I haven't used this shade on myself but I've used it on my mom several times and she loves it! She's all for darker shimmery shades on the lid and this shade looks so beautiful on her.
Next shade in the palette is another one of my faves, Love Letter. I don't own a color like this and I never thought I'd need to but WOW. This is a gorgeous bright fuchsia color that I love using in my crease to brighten up looks. I will be doing a blog post on a cut crease I did and I used this shade and it's honestly one of my fave eye looks I've ever done.
The last shade from the top row is Cyprus Umber. This is your staple dark brown matte shade that every palette needs in my opinion. This is perfect for the crease to darken looks up!
The first color from the bottom row is Raw Sienna and this is my favorite color from the palette! It may not look like anything special to some people but this color is everything you need and more. I own Sienna from ABH but I love this shade so much more! I've put quite a dent in it already. I use this shade for various things, as my transition, in my crease, or all over the lid and I'm good to go!
The next shade is another fave of mine, Burnt Orange. This color is kind of like Raw Sienna but a couple of shades lighter and not as warm.
Next shade is Primavera. This color is a gorgeous shimmery gold color that everyone is bound to love! I haven't really played around with it as much but I'm looking forward to.
The next shade in the palette is Red Ochre. I don't believe I've ever owned a red shadow and wow have I been missing out. I love pairing this with Love Letter when I do cut creases.
Next shade is another of my faves, it's Venetian Red. A must for me when I'm using Love Letter to do my cut creases! This shade is so stunning and every time I wear it I get compliments!
Next shade in the palette is Warm Taupe. I recently used this for the first time and I was impressed! I didn't really think I'd like it cause it looked too gray to me but it's a great color in the crease.
The last shade in this palette is Realgar! I love my orange shadow and this one definitely didn't disappoint me. It's a beautiful matte bright orange that's a must have shade in your collection!
In conclusion, you need this palette! You may think you can't get much use out of it but you can create so many different types of looks with this! For the price you get amazing quality shadows.

October 2016 Faves! ♥

I'm back to doing my monthly faves and I'm so excited! I love sharing my fave products with you guys. Let's get right into what I've been loving for the month of October.

The first thing I'm going to talk about is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette. I mentioned this in the last favorites that I did but it was a new product and I didn't have much time to fully play around with it. Now that I've had it for a couple of months and have gotten the chance to use every single color I want to talk more about it! You guys seriously this palette is amazing and so worth the money! There is not one single shadow that isn't pigmented or doesn't blend well. So if you've been debating about getting this, just go out and get it please!
My favorite lashes have been the Ardell 206! Wow these lashes are just so beautiful. I get so many compliments when I wear these. A couple people thought they were either my real lashes or eyelash extensions, crazy! For the price, these are a must have.
I've been wanting Anastasia's Ashton liquid lipstick pretty much since it came out. I own one other color and it was from their very first batch about two years ago. I loved it at first but once I started buying other brands of liquid lipsticks I noticed that the formula was not the best. I loved the color so I went ahead and bought it hoping i'd like it. I LOVE IT! I don't know if they improved the formula or what but it's so comfortable now.
This is my first NYX Liquid Suede lippie in Soft-Spoken and wow I'm impressed with the formula! It feels great on the lips. This color has been my go to when I want something natural, it's beautiful.
A moment of silence for how STUNNING this eyeshadow is!! Colourpop's Alchemy is just on another level. I do not own an eyeshadow as beautiful as this. I'm not sure if they still sell it anymore but hopefully they do because everyone needs this in their life. Here's a video of the shadow!
I've talked about this product a while back but I repurchased it because it's so good. The Sephora Bright Future Serum Concealer. This really helps with covering dark circles and it isn't cakey at all! In fact, it feels great on the skin.
The last product I want to talk about is something I've been using a lot lately! It's the NYX Crystal Liner in Crystal Gold. This is a super affordable liner that works great! It doesn't take long to dry and it's easy to use as well.

Angelic Glitter Cut Crease ♥

I did my first ever glitter cut crease the other day and thought I should share it with you guys! I know I've been gone for a while but I'm finally back and ready to put out great posts! Expect an October faves coming soon.
So I was playing around with makeup and I thought i'd give a glitter cut crease a try. I didn't expect for it to turn out great or anything but I ended up loving it! I got so many compliments on my social media accounts for this look.

The only palette I used for this look was the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. I started off with a transition color, Salted Caramel. Then I took a mixture of Milk Chocolate and Semi-Sweet and started building that up in my crease till I got the desired look. To cut my crease I took some concealer. Over the concealer I used the color Marzipan which is such a beautiful champagne color! For the glitter in my crease I used NYX's Liquid Crystal Liner in Crystal Gold which is so easy to use! I added some winged liner, mascara, and my Goddess Lashes by Koko lashes. I loved the way this look turned out, it's perfect for a night out!

June 2016 Faves! ♡

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog! It's been a while since I last posted. I haven't had much inspiration but now that I'm moving to a different city I want to start posting a lot more! I want to start posting about makeup looks I do so hopefully I can do that soon. Let's get into my favorite makeup products from the month of June.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette: Oh. My. God. When I first saw this palette I just about died. It's soooo gorgeous! If I was a palette, for sure this would be it. I knew I had to have it once it came out. I went to my local Sephora and I was able to get my hands on the last one! Same thing happened with the Self Made palette. All of the colors in this palette are gorgeous, there's not one that I do not like. I haven't had time to really sit down and play with all the colors but the ones I have used, I love! I highly suggest getting this palette.
MAC Cosmetics Lip Pencil in Whirl: I've had this lip liner for a while and I would use it all the time but I stopped. I recently started to use it again and I have no idea why I stopped. It's such a pretty, natural color that can be used under pretty much every lipstick. I also like using this on it's own.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: Another product that I used a lot and fell in love with again. I stopped using it once I ran out and started using a drugstore mascara. I bought the travel size and fell in love! I went and bought the full size once I was done with the travel size. Definitely one of my favorite high end mascaras.
NYX Lip Lingerie Lipsticks in Beauty Mark and Honeymoon: I know these look the same in the picture but I promise they're not! This whole line is nude colors and these are two of the darkest. If you know me then you know I'm not the biggest fan of nude lip colors because I feel like they don't suit me. So, when I saw NYX came out with this line I wasn't interested at all. I went to CVS and saw them in person and really liked these two shades as they were way darker than the rest. They're very pigmented and last so long! They're not uncomfortable on the lips at all.
Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Powder: I went to CVS and saw this where all the new products were and I was intrigued. It's described as a skin transforming powder which is going to intrigue anyone who loves makeup. I was in need of a new powder so I bought it. It's so soft and goes on the skin beautifully! It makes my skin look flawless.

April 2016 Favorites!

Hello everyone! We're now in May which is honestly crazy to me. I didn't post a March faves because I didn't have any new products that I tried or anything so I skipped the month. BUT, I bought so much new makeup in April and had lots of stuff to try out so there definitely is a favorites this month.

The first thing I am going to talk about is Anastasia eye shadows. I've been dying to try these and now that they're finally in stores, it's easier to get them. I went to Sephora and picked up 4 shadows and got the 4 well palette for free. One of the colors I really wanted was Dusty Rose so luckily I found that in stock at Ulta! So I currently have 5 of these shadows and will definitely be buying more. The 4 that are my faves so far are Birkin, Dusty Rose, Sienna and Red Earth.

I've fallen back in love with the Rimmel Show Off Lip Velvets! The orange one is just so stunning and I can't stop using it. It's the perfect color for Spring and Summer.
While I still love my Queen B lashes, the Goddess lashes from Koko Lashes are so beautiful and dramatic. They really make my eyes pop and I always get so many compliments when I'm wearing these.

I've never been a fan of Hard Candy but when I saw they came out with velvet mousse liquid lipsticks I had to try them! They come in a very cute tin packaging. I'm not a fan of nude colors either but this is the perfect nude for me!! The smell is super sweet which I like. It's very comfortable on the lips as well. I'm definitely going to be purchasing more of these.
Another product I've fallen in love with, the Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden. I used to use this a long time ago then fell in love with the MAC paint pot but I'm back to using this and forgot how good it is!
The last product I'm going to be talking about is something completely new to me. I purchased the Milani eyebrow pencil because I ran out of all my other brow pencils, sad. This thing is no joke! With almost no pressure, you get a super pigmented result. I have to be careful with this otherwise my brows will end up super dark. I might pick up a lighter shade. But, this product really surprised me and it's super good.

Colourpop Cosmetics Haul! ft. Ultra Satin Lips, Ultra Matte Lips & Supershock Shadow

I placed an order on Colourpop last Sunday because I've been dying to try their new Ultra Satin Lips! I've heard so many good things about them so I finally caved and bought some as well as some other things. Here is my most recent Colourpop Cosmetics haul.

I got four of the new Ultra Satin Lips. I haven't tried these on my actual lips yet so once I get a feel for them and have used them long enough, I'll be dedicating a whole post to these! The four colors I got are Mess Around, Tansy, Lost, and Prim. I got one of the Ultra Matte Lips which I love so much! The color I got is Guess. The last thing I purchased was a Super Shock Shadow in the color La La. I really wanted the color Weenie, but sadly it was sold out. Colourpop was having a promotion at the time. they were celebrating reaching 2 million followers so with every $10 purchase you'd get a special limited edition Lippie Stix. It's called Poppin and it's a gorgeous bright pink! Swatches of everything will be down below in the order mentioned above.

February 2016 Favorites!

I know this is a bit late but I completely forgot that I do monthly faves lol and I was shocked when I saw a week of March had already passed. Of course I still wanted to get this up so here are my faves from February!

"Posh" lashes from Lena Lashes are to die for! I discovered this brand a couple of months ago and seriously cannot stop ordering from them! They have sooo many different styles of lashes, each amazing, as well as glitters, eyeliners, and now liquid lipsticks. Their lashes may be a bit pricy but they ALWAYS have deals and sales going on so you're getting great quality lashes for a good price. This style is the newest one I've purchased and I seriously am in love!
"Tea With the Queen" nail polish from Butter London is the perfect nude polish for me. It's not just a regular nude but it's a creamy peach nude. As soon as I put this on my nails I fell in love. I've been wearing this polish for weeks now!
"Limbo" and "Rooch" Colourpop Ultra Matte Lips are my current fave colors! You guys know how much I love these liquid lipsticks. I've been dying to get my hands on Limbo and I finally have it and it's the perfect shade of brown. Rooch is a beautiful dark red that is so gorgeous.
"I Spy" Colourpop Supershock Shadow is the perfect transition shade! It's a matte shade so even better as a transition shade. This has been my go to to put all up in my crease as well as all over my lid when I don't feel like doing extravagant shadow.
Wet N Wild Contouring Palette in Dulce De Leche is amazing! As soon as I saw Kathleen Lights mention how good this was, I had to go to Walgreens and get it. I'm not big on contouring, I only own the Anastasia contour kit and that's it. But, I would like to get into contouring more. These two shades are great for my skin tone! I love the bright powder as it's not too light and not too yellow. The contour shade is not too dark either. They're very pigmented powders as well.
"Queen B" lashes from Koko Lashes have been long raved about by not only Lustrelux but by a lot of people. These lashes are always sold out!! A couple weeks ago I went on the website just to look and they just so happened to be in stock so I ordered a pair right away. I was a bit scared that they'd be too long and dramatic for my eyes but I seriously love them so much! I get so many compliments every time I wear them and trust me I wear them a lot! P.S. they're currently in stock!

Liquid Lipstick Collection + Reviews/Swatches

I was waiting on some orders I placed to finally be able to make this post and I'm so excited to go through my liquid lipstick collection! Liquid lipsticks have taken over the makeup industry and I'm loving it. They're honestly all I wear now. I can't even remember the last time I wore regular lipstick. I can't wait to expand my collection, but for now here is my current liquid lipstick collection.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams: Some people wouldn't really consider these a liquid lipstick but I do. They're a mouse like texture. I own two of these in the colors Monte Carlo which is a beautiful red color and in Vancouver which is a deep purple and it's a newer color. I've never had any problem with the formula or anything so I really like these.
OFRA Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks: Again, I own two of their shades. Miami Fever which was created by the amazing Kathleen Lights, is a unique orange shade. The other color I own is Brooklyn which is a very dark brown shade. These got so many good reviews from youtubers that I HAD to try them. Plus, they have lots of gorgeous colors. I'm so disappointed to say that I do not like these at all. They never seem to dry on my lips and they stay kind of tacky. They just feel gross on my lips and not comfortable at all. Maybe I'm applying too much? I don't know but I don't like these at all.
ULTA Matte Lip Cream: I own one of these because I was so tempted to try it out. It's only 9 bucks so I wanted to see if it's just as good as the more expensive liquid lipsticks. I don't like the formula at all. It is the runniest lip product I own. It's almost like you have no control of the product and you have to be very careful when applying. It takes forever to dry! The color I got is gorgeous but the product itself I do not like.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick: These were so hyped up when they released so of course I waited at my computer to order one as soon as they were up for sale. I got the color Vamp which is a nice maroon color. The formula is runny but not too hard to work with. I personally don't care for this product much. At first I did seem to like it but only because I had never tried any other liquid lipstick. You can get better liquid lipsticks at a better price or equal price.

Colourpop Cosmetics Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks: As you can tell by how many I own, I love these! I did a blog post on the first five that I ever bought so if you're interested, check it out here on my blog. I own 11 of these and I love them. There's one color I don't care for on me personally but that doesn't mean I don't think it looks bad on everyone. These work so well for me! They sit on my lips comfortably for a couple hours till the start getting crusty on the inside which is not surprising for a liquid lipstick. I love how Colourpop continues to release colors! They have so many stunning colors to choose from plus, they're only $6!
Lena Lashes Liquid Lipstick: I love love love Lena Lashes' false eyelashes! They are so gorgeous and they have so many pairs. They also always have amazing deals and sales. When I saw they were coming out with liquid lipsticks, I got so excited! I literally wanted every color but had to stop myself and only get one to see if I liked it. I got the color Frederique which is a very dark brown shade. It dries so fast! Which is a good and maybe bad thing. You have to work fast with this because you don't want to pile the product on as it will start getting flaky and uncomfortable.
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks: One of my favorite liquid lipsticks! I love these so much. With so much color variety, how can you not love these? They are on the expensive side but so worth it. They go on so easy and aren't hard to work with. I do have one complaint though, some colors are a bit streaky so you have to go over it a couple times.

From left to right:
•Lena Lashes' Liquid Lipstick "Frederique"
•NYX Cosmetics "Monte Carlo," "Vancouver"
•OFRA Cosmetics "Miami Fever," "Brooklyn"
•ULTA Matte Lip Cream "Allusive"
•Anastasia Beverly Hills "Vamp"
•Colourpop Cosmetics "Trap," "StingRAYE," "Teeny Tiny," Bumble," "Chilly Chill," "Tulle," "Avenue," "Rooch," "Kae," "Limbo," "Succulent"
•Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick "Lolita," "Echo," "Damned," "Witches"

Favorite High-end Palettes

So I originally was going to post this on the last day of December and that obviously didn't happen. So here are the three high-end palettes that I enjoyed in 2015 and still now.

The Urban Decay Naked 3 palette is LIFE. This did come out a couple of years ago and I did get it w while back but still to this day I live for it and use it so much. I do own the Naked 2 but don't like it nearly as much as this one. The first Naked palette didn't interest me at all. So if someone asked me which Naked palette is my fave, it's this one. Below are swatches of my 6 favorite shades from this palette.

The next palette I want to talk about is the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. Like I've said before, I had wanted this ever since it came out. Once I finally got my hands on it, I just KNEW i'd be reaching for it a lot. The matte shades in this are perfect and so are the shimmery shades. The fact that this smells like chocolate on top of being amazing, like yes!

The last palette I want to mention is the Anastasia Self Made palette. I knew I had to have this palette when I first saw pics of it. I always thought previous palettes from the brand were pretty but I knew this was THE one. It was the last one available at my Sephora and I was so happy I was able to get it. The shadows are amazing and blend out so well. The brush it comes with is also super good!

January 2016 Faves!

Honestly can't believe that the first month of the year has come and go already! Another month, another month of faves! Here are my fave makeup products for the month of January.

Maybelline Dream Velvet Soft-Matte Hydrating Foundation: As soon as I heard this came out, I knew I had to buy it! I got mine at Target which I suggest purchasing yours from there or Ulta. I have oily skin so any foundation that has "matte" in the title, I need to try. I got the perfect color which I was surprised I did since you can't see the actual color through the tube. It has a cooling effect when you first put it on your skin which feels good. It blends so easy and dries fast too. I really like this foundation!
L.A. Girl HD Pro Conceal: I purchased three different shades of this concealer to try out and my fave shade is Natural! This concealer doesn't feel too heavy on my skin and blends out in seconds. I like to use it under my eyes and a little bit down my nose. Super affordable as well!

It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation: My mom actually gave this to me. She ordered one for herself from QVC and it came with a free one so she gave it to me. When I first tried it out I really liked it. I'm not one who uses powder foundation and nothing else so I do dust this over my liquid foundation. I haven't tried it on it's own so I can't say if it's good enough on it's on. But I do like it to set my foundation with.
Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette: I bought this palette during the Sephora VIB Sale and I've loved it since! After wanting this ever since it first launched, I'm so glad I decided to finally pick it up. I love my neutral and warm colors so this palette is right up my ally. It has the perfect matte shades and the perfect shimmer shades. If I'm not using my Morphe 35O, I'm reaching for this!

Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara: I've used this mascara before but it's been a long while since I repurchased it. I was looking for a new mascara but decided to go back to this one. I don't know why I didn't repurchase it, it's so good to me! I especially love it for my lower lashes.
Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art: I've owned the "nail" version of these and thought it was weird that they came out with some for the eyes. I've been really into glitter lately and have seen quite a bit of people using these in tutorials on youtube. I decided to pick one up and I wore the glitter on New Year's. I fell in love! The gold glitter is so stunning! One thing I don't like, it takes forever to dry! I did two coats so it took longer to dry. I ended up tapping a bit of gold eyeshadow over it cause I didn't have anymore time to wait. Once it dries, it is not going anywhere!
Ardell Double Up 206 Lashes: Once again, I saw these used in a tutorial on Youtube. BeautyyBird used them and I thought they looked so stunning on her. I was scared to buy them cause she has big eyes and mine are small so I didn't want them to look crazy on me. I caved and purchased a pair. When I wore them I fell in love with them! I got so many compliments as well. Definitely one of the easiest pair of lashes to put on.
